We have just started our journey to build our dream to use fashion to inspire positive social change for LGBT individuals in India.

We have so many ideas how we can support LGBT individuals to build skills and careers for themselves in the fashion industry, improve their chances of employment, make new friends and build their confidence.

Employment prejudices faced by LGBT individuals in India is one of the major factors leading to homelessness, poverty, forced prostitution and suicide.

WEAR . PRIDE . RAINBOW is founded by Indian fashion designer and child abuse survivor, Atul Kumar Singh. W.P.R will donate a % of the sale of specific items to fund it's groundbreaking training scheme. The project will nurture new design talent as well as use the platform created to share important LGBT stories with the International community and be a voice of change.

Projects will include paid apprenticeships and training opportunities, networking events, story sharing, fashion shows and campaigning to end article 377 (to name a few).

The philosophy around the project is that when $ targets for each project is met, they will be activated. We will have set milestones and stretch targets. Basically every item bought strengthening our community projects.

We're really excited about the future and can't wait to share this journey with you all.
